Welcome to the Webmaster's Corner where we try to jot notes on the process of website creation, and give you a preview of the things we are planning to implement in the near future.

Creating the Ekatvam website is a deeply satisfying process which brings together the heartful teachings of Swamiji and Amma together with accessible technology. They heartfully hope that the website reflect the powerful energies they carry, and that it be deeply experiential to the people who visit it. It is their intention that people who visit the website feel the energies of the Divine Mother through the writings, images and celestial sounds. Swamiji and Amma lovingly guided their disciples in putting together the website.

We need to make a special mention of the contribution of Nimal Dinesh, Swamiji and Amma's 12 year old son who is studying in the 7^th grade. Nimal has a knack with technology. He is very proactive in learning technologies and for translating Swamiji and Amma's vision for the website into reality. He needs little direction, and proactively learns new technologies all by himself. Even at this young age he is completely familiar with Photoshop, Flash, website technologies and sound editing. He has contributed all the graphics, the flash introduction and sound bytes to the website. Given a task, he goes about implementing it methodically, learning whatever needs to be learned to accomplish the task. He is very interested in architecture; his inspiration is Vishwakarma, the celestial architect who has designed the abodes for the Gods. Thanks, Nimal!

And not to forget the contribution of Swami and Amma's 7-year old daughter Dhevamitra. She is a gifted child who is a very good artist, brings a lot of energy to motivate and put in good humor Nimal and the disciples who work on the website and playfully gives her opinion on what is good and what is not.

Moving forward, we are planning to make short videos of Swamiji and Amma available on the website, so that people can have a darshan of the energy carried by them. We are planning to make available various spiritual products which people can buy through the Ekatvam website.  Also in the pipeline, is implementing a blogging tool, which will allow us to blog about the upcoming spiritual pilgrimage to India.  This will allow Swamiji and Amma to share their experiences and blessings during the pilgrimage with everyone.

We use Joomla as the platform for the Ekatvam website.  Joomla is an excellent open source website building software, we thank the Joomla community for its valuable contribution.
